Ever-changing landscape

“Once thought to be as hard-wired as a computer, the brain's neural circuitry is now understood as an ever-changing landscape. The ability of individual neurons to form new synaptic connections in response to novel experiences or environmental challenges is known as brain plasticity, and it underlies learning and memory.”

Within my art practice, I explore the brains neural circuitry as an ever-changing landscape. Drawing inspiration from cartography, scientific research and imagery; including neurological connections involved in creativity, and silk material.
I am intending to make new works following these lines of thought....watch this space!
